It is important that when projects are funded by donor agencies that the project delivers the results expected; that benefits accrue to the beneficiaries that there is efficient and effective implementation of the programme and that lessons are learnt from the interventions. Project accountability is important for donor agencies that fund tourism projects for beneficiary countries the world over.
Tourism Intelligence International has developed special expertise in the evaluation of projects and programmes funded by donor agencies. Extensive use of Project Cycle Management, Evaluation Methodologies, Economic and Financial project Analysis and Moderation techniques are used.
Tourism Intelligence International assisted the European Union in evaluating the tourism projects funded in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) states. A synthesis of all of the evaluations carried was undertaken and the results fed into the development of the EU Sustainable Tourism policy framework for the tourism sector of ACP states.
